Course Overview

The CCMA is an entry-level certification that has received ANAB accreditation and is based on the ANSI-Approved Contract Management standard. It is intended to reassure new professionals and decision-makers that they have the necessary expertise to engage in contract management.
Those who have shown their knowledge of the Contract Management StandardTM Second or Third Edition are given this entry-level certification. For individuals who are new to the field of contract management, the CCMA offers a solid starting point and launches you on a successful professional path. Who should apply?

• Anyone with a 4-year degree from an institution with regional accreditation and under a year's experience in contract management,
• Buyers and sellers without a 4-year degree from a regionally accredited institution who have at least one year of contract management experience
• Buyers who are interested in learning how their actions affect sellers, sellers who are interested in learning how buyers' actions affect them, and
• everyone who is interested in learning about the fundamentals of the contract life cycle.

Exam Requirements

• One year of work experience in contract management or a related industry OR a bachelor's degree.
• Foreign degrees must be evaluated by an impartial third party, such as SpanTran, World Education Services, Scholar, Credit Eval, or Info Check USA.
• 40 hours or more of CPE/CLP are required as a minimum (for more information, check our CPE Guide).
