Course Overview
The aim of the Diploma in Project Management is to develop learners' knowledge, understanding, and skills required to deal with the complexities of leadership and strategic management in a business context and to develop their ability to lead change in organizations.

Diploma in Project Management aims to enable learners to:

• Apply theoretical understanding of management to complex and current business problems with the aim of improving business practice
• Critically reflect on leadership skills, preparing them for senior project management roles within their organization.
• Develop an attitude toward lifelong learning as it relates to education and training
• Gain critical insight into current research and cutting-edge practice in the field of project management

Entry Requirements
Approved centers are responsible for assessing and determining the applicant's ability to successfully complete the learning program and meet the requirements of the qualification. The initial assessment by the center must consider what support is available or can be provided to meet the learner's individual needs.

The qualification has been designed to be accessible without artificial barriers that limit access. For this qualification, applicants must be at least 19 years of age and meet the following requirements:

• Level 6 qualification or;
• First university degree

For applicants whose first language is not English, IELTS 6 (or equivalent) is required. International qualifications will be assessed for suitability for postgraduate study in the UK where appropriate. Applicants will normally be required to provide two references, at least one of which should preferably be academic in nature.
