The PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is a formal recognition of your knowledge of agile principles and expertise with agile practices, and it comes from the same folks who brought you the PMP®. Demonstrate to your peers, employers, and stakeholders that you have extensive agile knowledge.

According to PMI’s 2015 Pulse of the Profession® research, organizations that are extremely agile and sensitive to market conditions finish more of their projects successfully than their slower-moving counterparts—75 percent versus 56 percent.

Scrum, Kanban, Lean, extreme programming (XP), and test-driven development are all covered by the PMI-ACP (TDD.)
As a result, it will broaden your versatility, regardless of where your assignments take you.

Who Should Submit an Application?

The PMI-ACP is a suitable choice for you if you work on agile teams or if your company is embracing agile methods.
The PMI-ACP demonstrates your ability to work as part of an agile team in the real world.

Obtain and Maintain Your PMI-ACP Certification

• There are 120 multiple-choice questions on the certification exam, and you have three hours to complete it.
• Every three years, you must gain 30 professional development units (PDUs) in agile topics to keep your PMI-ACP.

Exam requirements

• A secondary Degree
• Training in agile practices for 21 contact hours
• Within the last five years, you must have had 12 months of general project experience.
  This prerequisite can be met with an existing PMP® or PgMP®, however it is not necessary to apply for the PMI-ACP.
• Within the previous three years, you have had 8 months of agile project experience.
